75th Anniversary Events
2024-2025

The AAS/Tirol is celebrating 75 years with a special anniversary series of events, partially sponsored with the assistance of grant funds and focusing on partnerships following the overall theme: “From Shared Experiences to Shared Values.” With an introduction to the historical context of post WWII U.S strategic diplomacy efforts such as the Fulbright Act of 1946, the Marshall Plan (European Economic Recovery Act) of 1948 and the activities of the Amerikahaus in Innsbruck, we have been tracing the history of the Austro-American Society in Tirol
